Monica Hogan Danceworks is a project-based contemporary company based in New York City. Monica Hogan creates works that draw on inherent themes of the human experience, reimagining archetypal relationships through compositional innovation. With stylistic virtuosity, the company is known for performing with a clarity of vision and musicality that communicates through athletic and intentional movement. Monica Hogan Danceworks cultivates collaboration by integrating dance performance with alternative digital and artistic media. The company aims to unite dance artists of diverse backgrounds, allowing their unique experiences to contribute to the creative process. We strive to create an inclusive rehearsal environment where dancers commit their own artistic voice to the movement.

Monica Hogan Danceworks has presented numerous works on national and international stages, including: Ailey Citigroup Theater, DUMBO Dance Festival, Salvatore Capezio Theatre, Gelsey Kirkland ArtsCenter, CoolNY Dance Festival, NY Jazz Choreography Project, Dixon Place, Queens Council on the Arts, Actor's Fund Arts Center (NYC); Triangle Dance Festival for AIDS (NC); Xuzhou Concert Hall, Tianjin Concert Hall (China); Jazz on Tap Festival (GA); and more.

The company taught masterclasses as an Artist in Residence for the Duke University Backstage Series in 2013 and for DEMAN Weekend in 2014.
